ROMI HAAN ELECTED TO HOUSEWARES CHARITY FOUNDATION BOARD TO RAISE FUNDS FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH

Lancaster, PA -- (January 2010) -- Romi Haan, HAAN® Corporation CEO, was elected to the board of the
Housewares Charity Foundation (HFC).

Since 1998, HFC has been recognized as the premier foundation for charitable causes in the housewares
industry. Together, The Housewares Charity Foundation (HFC), Romi Haan and other HFC members
have selected The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, founded by Evelyn Lauder, as the recipient of
2010's giving.

HFC has garnered awareness, research and monetary donations for a variety of worthy causes, but holds
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation as its legacy charity. To date, HFC has donated more than $8
million for breast cancer research.

Romi Haan and HAAN® Corporation are individually committed to raising $100 thousand this year
through their Pink Pad Program.

Throughout 2010, HAAN® will donate two dollars from every purchase of their pink Ultra MicroFiber
